2 Ivy House sits in the heart of the North Wessex Downs, an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB). Nestled in the countryside of West Berkshire, our Bed and Breakfast accommodation is perfect for a relaxing break for cycle enthusiasts and walkers, or just as a base for you to enjoy the beautiful scenery and varied activities that surround us. Cyclists can ensure that their bikes are locked away and secure overnight.
There are two accommodation options to choose from, both self-contained:
The Stables @ 2 Ivy House
The Stables offers ground floor accommodation with self contained facilities overlooking the river. The bedroom has a king sized bed, and the living/kitchenette area has adequate facilities to prepare tea, coffee and light snacks. There is a nespresso machine, toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge and washing machine for use during your stay. The sofa has a very comfortable pull out bed should this be required. Free secure onsite parking is available for cars and bikes.
The Barn @ 2 Ivy House
Our converted barn offers a unique and peaceful retreat. Built in French Oak it is full of character and charm. Our guests can enjoy the usual hospitality and local produce whilst looking out over the pretty gardens or using their own courtyard. The accommodation, suitable for 2 people, has a king size bed, en-suite bathroom with shower and a downstairs area equipped for making tea, coffee and light refreshments. The kitchen area also has a wine cooler/ fridge. Free secure onsite parking available for cars and bikes. Please be aware that this property is unique and quirky and has a spiral staircase to access the bedroom. This may be unsuitable for guests with mobility issues.
